A1 is divided into two sublevels—A1.1 and A1.2 and each sublevel typically requires one year of study to complete.

This is the second part of our beginner's level, and you will be able to build strong foundations at a comfortable pace. 

• Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases so you can meet your essential needs.
• Describe, ask and answer questions about where you live, people you know and objects you own.
• Interact in a simple way when the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Build on a solid foundation in French with our Improver A2.1 French course:

Grow confidence in speaking French while you deepen your learning of French: expand your vocabulary to talk about your pastimes and work environment, share memories, and talk about future plans. Through interactive activities and short conversations, you'll learn to grasp the main points of messages, improve your accent and explore cultural insights about French-speaking countries.

This 12 week course is the first part of our A2 level which comprises two sublevels: A1.1 and A2.2 and it takes a whole year of study to complete each sublevel.

This is our A2.2 Improver Plus French course, and by the end of it, you will be able to:

• Understand sentences and frequently used expressions about yourself and your close ones, shopping, work and your surroundings.
• Catch the main points of a short and simple text or letter, and find specific, predictable information in simple everyday material such as ads, posters and flyers, menus and timetables.
• Communicate on familiar and routine matters requiring a simple and direct exchange of information.
• Describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment and needs.

Our A2 level comprises two sublevels: A1.1 and A2.2 and it typically takes one year of study to complete each sublevel.

• Write short and clear texts on familiar topics and subjects of personal interest. 
  
• Describe experiences and events, dreams and ambitions
• Give straight forwards explanations for your opinions and plans.

Our level B1 comprises two sublevels: B1.1 and B1.2 and it takes a whole year of study to complete each sublevel.

For proficient speakers aiming to refine their language skills to an advanced level, B2.2 is the course for you.

This course emphasises mastering advanced debate techniques and expressing opinions confidently in both speech and writing. Topics are explored through various sources and include current affairs as well as cultural subjects such as literature, cinema, music, and art. You'll develop skills in articulating nuanced arguments, critically analysing perspectives, and communicating fluently and persuasively in French.

For dedicated linguists aiming to reach fluency, our C1 French language course is ideal.

In this course, you will learn to express yourself spontaneously and fluently. Your French will become efficient and flexible in professional, social, and academic settings. The course focuses on debating and expressing opinions confidently in speech and writing. You'll explore current affairs and cultural topics like literature, cinema, music, and art. Join our French Book-club from October to May for 8 exciting monthly sessions where we will discuss modern French literature; including several French speaking writers from around the world.

Our first session on the 9th of October 2026 will take us to Algeria with: L'amour, la Fantasia,  Assia Djebar
