Join other Alliance Francaise UK students for a week of learning French for adults, from October 18^th to 24^th 2026, and discover Nice and its surrounding area, enjoying the quieter season and still plenty of sunshine. Live on campus with a choice of accommodation.

Learn "General French" in the mornings from 9am to 1pm (20h in total) with native speaker teachers with a Master's degree in teaching, and discover the beautiful town of Nice and its surrounding area in the afternoon. About the Alliance Française de Nice

The Alliance Française de Nice is perfectly located in the centre of Nice, in the Rue de Paris. The AFN is easy to reach by public transport, is 10 minutes away from the train station and 20 minutes away from the famous "promenade des anglais" beach.

In the AFN you will have access to their Café, located in the same street as the AFN. This place is ideal for coffee or lunch break, you will also have access to books, DVD, board games in their library and some cultural activities!

What does it cost?

£750 / 860.46€ In total including the classes, admission fees, classes material, housing and cultural activities*

Please note that the fees do not include the journey, it is the participants' responsibility to book their flights.

How are the classes organised?

The AFN teachers are highly qualified and are experts in teaching French.
Level appropriate classes take place in the morning from 9am to 1pm from Monday until Friday, a total of 20h over 5 days. A two-hour phonetics workshop is planned on the Tuesday afternoon.

We will ask you to take a placement test to ensure you are placed with other students at the correct level.

The number of student per class is maximum 18, but there are usually between 8 and 12 people per class.

What about accomodation?

Studios in the residence on the AFN campus include:

What about getting there and getting around Nice?

You will have to book your own travel and organise transportation from and to the airport/train yourself.
When you arrive at the airport, few options are possible:

The AFN can book a taxi for you to go from the airport to your studio
A tramway line goes from the airport to the residence
You can book a taxi on your own

A guided visit through Old Nice on Monday, 19^th October

A Niçoise cooking tasting on Tuesday, 20^th October

A visit to a vineyard on Thursday, 22^nd October

A guided tour of the Matisse museum on Friday, 23^rd of October
