What to Expect:
We’ll meet at Broadsands Beach Car Park (TQ4 6HX) and start with a fun icebreaker game in french to get to know each other.

Challenge: Try to speak French throughout the walk—a great way to practice in a relaxed, supportive setting!

The Route:
A scenic 5.7km (3.5-mile) walk through the historic Domesday estate of Churston Ferrers and three picturesque coves, where dogs are welcome all year round.

After the Walk:
We’ll finish at a local pub for more conversation and, if time allows, a French board game!

  • Dogs Welcome ✅ With conditions:
    • You must have a leash with you at all times.
    • Please ensure your dog is friendly with other dogs.
    • We reserve the right to ask you to leave the group if your dog causes any issues.
    • Alliance Française Devon accepts no liability for any damage caused by your dog to land, livestock, or private property.

  • Alliance Française reserves the right to cancel a course or event when there is an insufficient number of participants.
    In this event, payments will be refunded.
  • Fees are not refundable or transferable if you fail to complete a pre-paid course/ event.
  • In case of severe weather conditions, classes may be cancelled. We will do everything we can to either offer a replacement class or transfer the class online. However, if neither of these are possible, no refund will be offered.
  • Books are required for most regular courses and Book Club. These are not included in the fees and should be purchased separately.
  • Students enrolling for any 10 or 11 weeks course will automatically become members of our association and be invited to our AGM.
