This is our beginner's level, and you will be able to build strong foundations at a comfortable pace. 

• Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases so you can meet your essential needs.

• Interact in a simple way when the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. 

A1 is divided into two sublevels—A1.1 and A1.2. Each sublevel typically requires about one year of study to complete.

Grow confidence in speaking French while you deepen your learning of French: expand your vocabulary to talk about your pastimes and work environment, share memories, and talk about future plans. This 12 week course is the first part of our A2 level which comprises two sublevels: A1.1 and A2.2 and it takes a whole year of study to complete each sublevel.

This is our A2.2 Improver Plus French course, and by the end of it, you will be able to:

• Understand sentences and frequently used expressions about yourself and your close ones, shopping, work and your surroundings.
• Catch the main points of a short and simple text or letter, and find specific, predictable information in simple everyday material such as ads, posters and flyers, menus and timetables.
• Communicate on familiar and routine matters requiring a simple and direct exchange of information.
• Describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment and needs.

This 12 week course is the second part of our A2 course that comprises two sublevels: A1.1 and A2.2 and it takes a whole year of study to complete each sublevel.

Sharpen your French with our Intermediate A2/B1 Grammar & Conversation Course

This course is designed to help you refine your grammar and boost your confidence in conversation. You’ll dive deeper into French structures, expand your vocabulary, and practice speaking in a supportive, interactive environment. Perfect for students at the A2/B1 level, this course will help you communicate more fluently and accurately in everyday situations.

This course will be led by Julien and Coline.

This course is part of our intermediate level B1 and will enable you to: 

• Understand the main points of clear standard speach on familiar matters like work/ school, leisure, home...
• Read  medium lenght texts that consist mainly of everyday or elementary job-related language.
• Deal smoothlyly with most situations whilst travelling. 
  
• Write short and clear texts on familiar topics and subjects of personal interest. 
  
• Describe experiences and events, dreams and ambitions
• Give straight forwards explanations for your opinions and plans.

Our level B1 comprises two sublevels: B1.1 and B1.2 and it takes a whole year of study to complete each sublevel.

For dedicated linguists aiming to reach fluency, our C1 French language course is ideal.

In this course, you will learn to express yourself spontaneously and fluently. Your French will become efficient and flexible in professional, social, and academic settings. Join our French Book-club from October to May for 8 exciting monthly sessions where we will discuss modern French literature; including several French speaking writers from around the world.
