A countryside village in France, 1974. When she accidentally becomes pregnant, Annie, a working mother of two teenagers, meets with the Movement for the Liberation of Abortion and Contraception (MLAC); doctors and women who perform illegal abortions in the public eye, practicing a free, safe and respectful method. Gradually Annie will join their battle, which will bring a new meaning to her life.

  • Alliance Française reserves the right to cancel a course when there is an insufficient number of students.
    In this event, existing student payments will be refunded.
  • Course fees are not refundable or transferable if the student fails to complete a pre-paid course.
  • In case of severe weather conditions, classes may be cancelled. It will be up to the committee to decide whether to offer replacement classes but no refund will be given.
  • Books are required for most regular courses and Book Club. These are not included in the fees and should be purchased separately.
  • Students enrolling for any 10 or 11 weeks course will automatically become members of our association and be invited to our AGM.
